For years, I’ve been thinking out loud.

Facebook, Instagram, the occasional LinkedIn post. Opinions about the world jolted in person. Observations about what policies actually means in practice, not just in theory. Thoughts about sustainability, equity, politics, culture, systems. The list goes on.

However, none of it is codified anywhere. There’s no single place I can look back and make sense of my own making sense of the world.

This Substack is my attempt to fix this, by putting my thinking somewhere that stays, somewhere I can come back to in five or ten or twenty years and audit myself.

What I want to write about covers the intersection where I’ve spent most of my career: business, sustainability and human behaviour. Why and how systems fail. My critical perspective on things - with a hint of sarcasm and irreverence.

Some of it will be wrong. Some might draw criticism, which is my biggest fear and the reason I hesitated for so long. Which I hope means that something landed.
